Mary P. Sinclair was born Sept. 23, 1918 in Chisholm, Minn. She graduated in 1940 from the College of St. Catherine, in St. Paul, with majors in chemistry and English. During the 50's, she worked for the Library of Congress where she became familiar with the papers of the Atomic Energy Commission.
